This is Ms. Kimiko Arakado, one of Able’s Japanese language teachers, making the complex simple for her students. Arakado-sensei heads a staff of three Japanese language teachers here.

Arakado-sensei first taught at Able on a part-time basis in 2001, then went abroad to teach at the University of Thailand in Chenmai for a year as a guest lecturer. Upon returning to Japan in 2003, she worked at a juku teaching kokugo, or classical Japanese. She has a deep interest in language instruction, and a wealth of experience teaching both native and non-native speakers.

Students are uniformly appreciative of her lesson style, which combines a friendly and professional presentation with an individual touch. No matter what a student’s level is, Arakado-sensei is able to communicate the principles of Japanese with clarity and in an entertaining manner.

If you feel that your Japanese isn’t what it ought to be, why not contact us for a trial lesson? It’s free, and there’s no hard-sell afterwards.

…and with a student.
